AHMA Launches Online Home Improvement Industry Network

Schaumburg, Illinois, March 18, 2009 — The American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) has created an online group for the home improvement industry at the leading business networking site, LinkedIn. The name of the group is: “AHMA Home Improvement Industry Network.” The group is open to all individuals working in, or interested in, the home improvement industry.

“One of the primary purposes of our association is to facilitate communications between our members and the industry as a whole,” said Timothy S. Farrell, President and Chief Executive Officer of AHMA. “This new online network is a perfect way for us to use today’s emerging media to greatly enhance opportunities for networking between manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and others interested in the industry.”
