AHMA Announces Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee to All Subscribers of The Hard Fax Publications

Schaumburg, Illinois, November 23, 2009 — The American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) today announced that, effective December 2, 2009, all subscriptions to The Hard Fax: Home Improvement Industry News and The Hard Fax International: Home Improvement Industry News from Around the World will come with a 90-day money-back guarantee. At any time during the first 90 days of their annual subscription, individuals may cancel and receive a full refund with no questions asked.
Individual subscriptions to The Hard Fax will remain at $229 per year. The Hard Fax International, which had been offered at an introductory rate of $99 when it was published bi-weekly, but has since expanded to weekly, will increase to $229 per year. A new combination rate will also go into effect December 2, 2009 offering both publications for $349 per year. All current paid subscribers will keep their current rate until their renewal comes due. All paid subscribers and AHMA members will also have full access to the daily news as the items are posted live during the week. Both publications will continue to be e-mailed to members and subscribers every Wednesday morning throughout the year.
AHMA members will continue to receive both weekly publications and have full online access to both publications at no extra cost as part of their member benefits.
The new sign-on system to gain online access to the news will be simple and easy. All current subscribers will be e-mailed a username and password together with their December 2, 2009 issues. Members will use the username and password they currently use to gain access to the other password-protected members-only areas of the AHMA websites. New subscribers will be e-mailed a username and password as they subscribe.
“The changes to The Hard Fax publications we are announcing today reflect our continuing dedication to the primary mission of the association, which is to be the most valuable resource to manufacturers in the home improvement industry,” said Timothy S. Farrell, President and Chief Executive Officer of AHMA. “With the recent increase in frequency of The Hard Fax International to a weekly publication, we have added more value for our members at no extra cost. And by establishing affordable prices for non-members to subscribe and have access to our publications, we are also continuing to contribute an extremely valuable information source to the entire industry,” Farrell added.
