AHMA Confirms Hardlines Technology Forum® 2009 Buyer Panel
Home Depot, Lowe’s, Do it Best and AAFES will Participate in Buyer Panel Presentations and Hold Individual “How-to” Do Business Sessions
Schaumburg, Illinois, February 27, 2009 — The American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) has announced a powerhouse lineup of retailers for the 2009 Hardlines Technology Forum (HTF) to be held April 19 – 22, 2009 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
At the exclusive HTF “How-to” Do Business sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to hear individual presentations from Home Depot, Lowe’s, Do it Best and AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service) about their key requirements and gain insight into how to successfully meet those requirements.
Then at the Buyer Panel session, these same retailers will be answering questions about their plans and future requirements.
“Nowhere else in the industry can manufacturers gain this level of extremely important knowledge about the inner workings of some of the biggest players on the buy-side of the home improvement industry,” said Timothy S. Farrell, president and chief executive officer of AHMA. “Especially in these recessionary times, the information being shared by such influential retailers will provide manufacturers with the guidance they need to become, or to continue as, key suppliers to these efficiency-seeking retailers,” Farrell added.
